I was informed thru email that my package would be delivered Friday Aug.25 - stayed home just to be sure I would be here - my phone rang at 9:41AM but the ring cut out and no one was on the line when I tried to answer! Our entry system is by code - and the code # connects to the tenants phone - there are instructions on how to use this system - the calls that do not "connect" are usually by someone that DID NOT READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS! The code cannot be punched in and expect the door to open - consequently- he marked that the package was not delivered due to no one there to answer!!! Waited all day thinking he might try again - waited on the phone for over 1/2 with no result - still have to get my package some how and hoping that I don't have to wait for a week - I have no access to a vehicle to pick it up so depending on the guy/gal in the truck! Please inform your drivers to BE SURE TO LOOK FOR INSTRUCTIONS when in front of a keyboard!!!
So I can say that purolator is definitely not a quality driven organization. I received a package to my door yesterday from purolator that looks like someone kicked a hole through it, not only that, now the purolator customer service refuses to refund me for the insurance value of the product. The contents were damaged irreparably and these idiots who were the ones who destroyed my package to begin with, won't even refund me for the value of what they broke. Purolator is a very low quality organization and they are a bunch of crooks if you ask me. Poor postal service and even poorer customer service. Take my advice and NEVER USE PUROLATOR TO SHIP A PACKAGE!
Paid $12 for shipping and I have to drive to the other side of the city on Sargent to pick up my package! Not impressed!!!
Notice was yesterday, today I tried calling to pick up my item only to find out that it is closed on the weekends. So I have to wait until Monday to pick up. Very disappointing
Why deliver the package at a time when you are also working? Of course nobody's home. But what is worse is the delivery guy didn't even left a notice that there was a package for me. When I checked the tracking number at this office, the lady said it was delivered 2 years ago! haha
I was not able to pick up within the five day window and called to request my two deliveries be re-directed to my workplace. The customer service rep was efficient and courteous. I am expecting the packages tomorrow.
You pay for shipping to have it delivered at your door step. Of course delivery time is only when you are at work. The icing on the cake is the pick up location.... the furthest location from my house and they are only open during work time (Mon-Fri). Total BS!!
Driver would not deliver package because my walk had not been shoveled after snow storm. This is Winnipeg and we get snow, is everything supposed to come to a halt. I am a senior and have a service that clears my snow and they had not been here yet. There was no phone call that my package was on its way.
The people working at Purolator on Pembina Hwy. are super. They are willing to help you and do everything they can to do so.. They are GREAT
I agree with Brunosan's comment! I had no warning that they were going to be delivering at my house, which I wasn't home for since I work Monday through Friday like most people. So tonight I have to take an hour out of my evening to go pick up the package on Pembina (25 minutes there, 25 minutes back)!! So annoying!!!

WATCHED the Purolator guy from my bedroom walk up to my mailbox and deposit a We Missed You slip then RUN back to their truck. Beyond useless service, this was on a Friday, and now I can't get my package until Monday because some lazy driver can't be bothered to do their job.
It's always the same run-around. I can't be home to get it, or they don't ring the doorbell, and then the notice says I have to wait until the next day until I can pick it up at this location which is 20-30 minutes drive away. I call the local office in the evening to see if they have it already, but they can't be bothered to check (even though I've had more helpful offices in the past do this and tell me I could come down early). I really liked Purolator in the last city I lived in, but in Winnipeg it's so inconvenient and slow and costly (time and gas). Why can't they have more branch offices, or offer a 'ship directly to this office' option for those of us that work for a living and would like to pick it up on the way home?
When I phoned to inquire about shipping rates I was told all their computers were down. They promtly redirected me to another office (the 1-800 one) where I recieved a message stating that they were closed and to phone back in the morning.

I asked for a package to be rerouted to the Pembina location, they said I had to go home and check what was on the slip first, they wouldn't just instruct the carrier to forward it to the Pembina location.
Absolutely brutal service! Called the Pembina Highway office in Winnipeg and gave them the tracking number and was told it's the wrong number. When I called the 1-800 number and gave them the same tracking number they found it but could only tell me it had been shipped so the tracking number was correct. The guy in the Winnipeg office could not have cared less - just kept telling me the tracking number was wrong and pretty much hung up on me. Terrible service and even worse attitude. Would never ever use Purolator!
